I had an idea for an image for this evening, but there was no sunlight in the street and if I'm honest I couldn't be bothered to venture any further afield. So that idea is put on hold for just now.
Instead I decided to try and have a little play with something called bokeh....
Shallow depth of field, and nice blurred background.
I really must remember to use my nifty fifty more for portrait shots.
