It's by the sea, has a pretty amazing beach (would be even more amazing if visitors looked after it and didn't leave their rubbish strewn along it) and generally gets away without the worst of the weather. Sometimes it even seems like it has its own little Eco climate.
I'm still very proud to be a Scotsman, but Blyth is my home, and short of a very large lottery win, I wouldn't leave it.
